The HR Director is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Compensation teams. The role ensures alignment between leads and aligns our HR Business Partner (HRBP), Compensation, and Talent Acquisition teams in support of a dynamic and fast-paced government contracting environment. This role ensures alignment between people practices and business objectives, with a focus on regulatory compliance, employee relations, workforce planning and operational execution. The Director will provide leadership across key HR functions, ensuring consistent processes, accurate data and analytics, and effective recruitment strategies that support both current operations and future growth.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to pass a background check.
Prior experience in government contracting or highly regulated industry is required.
Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures and methodologies.
Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, policies and precedents.
Strong business acumen and understanding of the HR strategic partnerships in driving business results.
Ability to influence / manage change and to advise and assist management in accomplishing personnel management responsibilities.
Excellent supervisory skills with ability to effectively lead, mentor and train others.

Leadership & Strategy
Leads, mentors, and develops a high-performing HR team, including HR Business Partners, Compensation Analysts, and Talent Acquisition Specialists.
Partners with executives and key stakeholders across the organization to design and execute people strategies that drive business performance and meet contract requirements.
Implements scalable HR frameworks that support current operations and future growth.
Serves as a strategic partner in merger and acquisition planning, due diligence, and integration.
Champions the use of HR technology and analytics to enhance decision-making and efficiency.
Talent Acquisition
Directs full-cycle recruitment in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Ensures compliance with OFCCP, EEO, and internal audit standards.
Drives proactive sourcing strategies, talent pipeline development, and workforce planning to ensure organizational readiness.
Builds and maintains strong employer brand strategies to attract and retain top-tier talent in a competitive market.
HR Business Partnership & Employee Relations
Develops and implements retention strategies that promote a positive employee experience, reduce turnover, and support career growth.
Oversees employee engagement surveys, analyzes results, and partners with leaders to execute targeted action plans.
Acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing strategic guidance on employee performance, investigations, compliance, and culture initiatives.
Standardizes HRBP processes across business units and contracts to ensure consistency and best practices.
Leads organizational policy reviews and recommends updates to ensure compliance, fairness, and alignment with company goals.
Oversees management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, workplace safety, and harassment prevention.
Talent Management
Oversees succession planning and leadership development programs to ensure organizational readiness.
Partners with business leaders to identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership roles.
Leads the performance management process, ensuring clear goal setting, consistent feedback, and accountability for results.
Compensation & HR Analytics
Oversees design, implementation, and administration of competitive, compliant compensation programs.
Leverages analytics to ensure pay equity, market competitiveness, and compliance with contract terms.
Leads annual compensation planning, job evaluations, and salary structure reviews.
Leads the development of HR metrics, dashboards, and reporting to monitor workforce trends, engagement, and turnover.
Uses predictive analytics to anticipate workforce needs and guide strategic planning.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation
Ensures HR policies, processes, and systems comply with federal and state labor laws, DCAA requirements, and contract-specific obligations.
Establishes robust audit processes to proactively identify and mitigate HR-related risks.
Collaborates with Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams to prepare for and respond to audits and investigations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and ten (10) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, including direct oversight of HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and Compensation Teams.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. The estimated pay range for this role is $118K to $223K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
